About Acetek
Acetek was incorporated early 2001 and has been actively trading since. The company is privately owned and operates under the instruction of the two directors. We supply quality electronic assemblies. We can supply either part or completed products all of which are manufactured within the UK using UK sources where ever possible. Acetek products are all independently tested to the relevant standards by ASTOR EMC. Every product is fully tested under load and inspected before dispatch. Acetek expanded its products by introducing a new range of slim modern suspended or surface mounted office luminares in both T5 and T8 single or twin lamps variants along with a range of slim LED backlit illuminated signs boxes.

Dusk to Dawn Switch Solar-Built
 This standard photocell dusk to dawn switch uses a high quality relay to switch loads using "Silver-Tin Oxide" contacts to ensuring a long operational life. The mains operated sensor is rated at 300 watts and offers IP65 when installed correctly. In addition to the mains unit there is a 12 and a 24 volt DC version. Acetek uses solar energy when possible in the manufacturing process of these sensors to reduce carbon emissions. Sensors built using solar energy are clearly labelled with the Solar-Bulit symbol.

New LED's tube lights.

The white LED tubes use the latest low current high lumen output LED's. Pitched at 45mm apart they emit 5 Lumens per LED and with a viewing angle of 120 degrees they are suitable for backlighting signs, front or rear lighting glass shelves, boats, cars, caravans and any other 12V dc applications. The low voltage and current consumption allows these 12V dc tubes to be operated form batteries and solar installations. The battery supply must be within 11.8 and 12.5V dc if this can not be acheived a self regulating version is avaliable that will operate from 12v to 18V dc  A suitable power supply is available to operate these tubes on mains voltage up to a total of 15 watts.

 These tubes have a life expectancy of up to 50,000 hours

A3 Illuminated LED Backlit Sign 

Acetek have designed a new LED illuminated A3 sign using 54 of the latest straw hat LED's consuming just 6 watts at 60 lumens per watt. The slim external frame is silver anodised aluminum measuruing only 48mm in depth with a removeable top section to change the poster. The sign operates at 12v DC and is supplied with a mains adaptor.
